Hello! I have a quick question. How are you able to do photography for shows? I've been asking around and it people have been saying you have to email the band's manager in order to get permission. Also, you have to work for a magazine or website in order to do it. I'm only 15, and I want to do that kind of stuff. Any advice :)?
Anonymoussorry it took me so long to get back to you!! but yes, often times its not the manager you go to, but the bands press publicist, or the record label publicist! most of them are pretty nice, but some are really bad at getting back to you. Often times you do have to work with a publication as well, but sometimes you get lucky, as long as you have a good portfolio to show off, as well as a DSLR and ambition=]

2: Something I feel strongly about…
The importance of family and friends, and the relationships you build with them! Also trust. You can’t get anywhere without it in my opinion! It takes years to gain, and seconds to break!
6. Mainstream Music: This is a tough one for me! We obviously have a lot of the same music taste, and a lot of those bands have “made it big” or are “somewhat mainstream” because you might hear their single on the radio… Those are the types of mainstram music I support; musicians, bands, and artists that started with nothing and earned their respect to make it big. Not bands that pay their way into the industry, have no respect for their fans, or started out on the disney channel… haha
